FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can I receive a refund if I decide not to attend the event?

If you have registered but find you are unable to attend the event, we offer the following refund schedule:

  • 100% refund for all cancellations received on or before December 31, 2008
  • 85% refund for all cancellations received on or before January 23, 2009
  • 50% refund for all cancellations received on or before February 20, 2009
  • No refund for cancellations after February 20, 2009

Can I choose to attend part of the event?

Should scheduling be an issue, you may of course attend only part of the event. We are unable, however, to offer a la carte pricing and instead request that all Members Weekend attendees contribute at the full applicable registration rate.

Will I receive a discount if I book my hotel reservation at Shutters on the Beach or Casa del Mar?

Yes, all Members Weekend attendees have access to discounted room rates at both host hotels pending continued availability. Currently, discounted rooms are only available at Shutters on the Beach.  The discounted base rate is $345 for a non-ocean view room.

To book a room at Shutters on the Beach, please call 800-334-9000.

Are there alternative options if I choose not to stay at Shutters on the Beach or Casa del Mar?

Yes.  In our constant efforts to address differing needs and concerns, we are happy to provide a list of alternative nearby hotels.

Who typically attends Members Weekend?

Members Weekend attracts leaders and experts from the business, civic and academic communities.  Participation, though similar to other Pacific Council events, boasts a higher proportion of non-local and international members.  This regional diversity, combined with the intimate nature of the event, creates an ideal networking environment for all attendees.  We also encourage speakers and session chairs to stay throughout the Weekend in order to enrich discussion and engage with members. Please visit our frequently updated Attendee Roster page to view the current list of Members Weekend participants.
